I used to hang out on Justin.tv for a long time. Basically it’s a bunch of nerds that broadcast themselves. Either they’re broadcasting a movie, watching a sitcom, sporting event or my favorite, they’re playing a game. I prefer to watch people play old games from my childhood, that mainly being the NES or SNES.
One of the most entertaining channels I watched was when I watched a guy play through the entire first Zelda game. It was about a 5 hour shift. Half way through the stream I decided to fire up my emulator. I got all the way to the 8th dungeon, then something unfortunate happened… my save game got fubarred. I was angry. So I stopped and watched him kick Ganon’s ass. I was happy.
Anyways, the point of this post was to talk about Angry Video Game Nerd. If you haven’t watched any of them before, you may want to. Especially if you grew up with a Nintendo in your house, this is a must. Makes you think about the games you played as a child. And, he swears like a sailor. Awesome.

I’ve been struggling to find motivation to really work on either game. I’m thinking its because we haven’t gathered around and played Catan lately, it could also be that I let my xbox live subscription run out on purpose. I haven’t really played any games, at all lately. I’ve fired up Diablo 3 on a couple of occasions, but I haven’t played much more than an hour.
Its not even like I don’t have the time to do it, its just I can’t force myself to really sit down and power through it. I’ve started re-writing (yea, big surprise there) the game to (hopefully) make it run smoother and more efficient. Ill crack down and actually work on it more, I’m hoping anyways.

I went ahead and watched District 9 last night, my god, that was such a piece of shit. Never, ever, ever, rent it when it comes out, it’s atrocious. Garbage.
Anyways, I ended up doing some Paperboy for the NES a bit earlier and my god, that is a hard damn game. I got to Tuesday and gave up nearly after that. I was pretty tempted to do what I did in Yo!Noid with playing around with save states to edge through the levels but got lazy. Then I switched to Zelda 2 for NES and started that up and I can’t find the god damn candle. What the hell. Its important, so where the fuck.
Anyways, this was a gar-balled post, just too tired to make real comments and opinions, maybe tomorrow night.
